If you are dissatisfied with the appearance of your smile, you may want to consider dental veneers.
When are veneers used?
Veneers are used to cover cosmetic imperfections in the teeth. For instance, chips, cracks, stains and gapped teeth can be camouflaged with veneers. Veneers are a less-invasive way to correct these issues than dental crowns or braces.
Am I a good candidate?
If you are interested in having veneers placed, Dr. David L. Ward can examine your teeth and determine if veneers are the best way to reach your smile goals and dreams.
How are veneers placed?
A small amount of enamel is removed from the front surfaces of the teeth. Impressions of the teeth are then made so that your veneers can be custom made. Once your veneers are ready, the fit will be checked, any necessary tweaks will be made, and they will be bonded to the front of the teeth.
How do I care for my veneers?
It may come as a surprise that veneers do not require any special care. Just brush and floss as you would your natural teeth and visit Ward Family Dental, PC at least twice a year for routine dental appointments. You may want to limit staining foods and beverages, like dark sodas. Also, keep in mind that your veneers will eventually need to be replaced by our dentist.
We invite you to call our office at 432-267-1677 today to learn more about veneers in Big Spring, Texas, and to book a consultation.
